How to guarantee failure

Dear Trustee
We trust you are well and prospering.

In our infomail this month we tackle the harsh reality that most of us avoid thinking and acting, on the possibility of failure and our eventual mortality. We become paralyzed when we need to make crucial decisions and to take drastic action on important matters so it is easier to procrastinate and focus on the pleasant things in life. Ah, the next holiday… The classic cliché that success has many fathers but failure is an orphan is core to our infomail this month.  Instead of listing what you need to do to be successful we are going to list what you should avoid doing to ensure that you do not fail.

If you want to FAIL and avoid success and prosperity and peace of mind do the following:

1.    Do not draw up your Last Will and Testament.
2.    Do not save for your retirement.
3.    Do not properly attend to your tax planning in your trust and business structures and you will voluntarily pay too much tax, in effect losing you money.
4.    Do not properly attend to the accounting and administration of the Trust structure thereby rendering the trusts useless.
5.    Do not transfer your home, investments and assets into the Trust structure thereby guaranteeing that the assets may be attached and or your estate LOSING approximately 35% of your net worth and value.
6.    Do not consult and liaise with your Independent Trustee so that you make uninformed, tax inefficient or incorrect decisions and jeopardizing the independence of your trust.
7.    Do not have a succession plan so that your spouse and children are seriously compromised.
8.    Do not attend to your financial planning so that you leave no liquidity or provisions for your spouse and children after your demise.
9.    Do not attend to your financial planning so that if you suffer a disability or dread disease you have NO cover and will really suffer.
10.  Do not have a comprehensive medical aid thereby ensuring that you cannot pay yours and your families medical bills.
11.  Do not properly insure your assets so that if yours or the trust assets are lost, stolen, destroyed or damaged that you or the trust will not be paid out and compensated.

We could list a host of other issues but we should have made the point by now. In closing, the first time you make a mistake you are a victim, the second time you make the same mistake you chalk it up to experience, if you again make the mistake YOU are a volunteer. Do not be a volunteer!! Take action and contact us to help you help yourself. Please contact us NOW on the numbers below to attend our no cost WORKSHOPS to assist you with the above.
